PAULA AND JENNY'S WEST HIGHLAND WAY RUN ...MONDAY 17 MAY 2010

ON MONDAY SEPTEMBER 7TH, JENNY AND PAULA WERE DUE TO START THEIR WEST HIGHLAND WAY RUN. IN TRAINING, THEY RAN OVER 2000 MILES, WORE OUT SEVERAL PAIRS OF TRAINERS, CONSUMED HUGE AMOUNTS OF ENERGY GELS, FLAPJACK, JAFFA CAKES, JELLY BABIES, PICNICS AND ENERGY BARS IN EVERY FLAVOUR (EXCEPT BANANA, YUK!!) THEN,DUE TO INJURY, IT HAD TO BE POSTPONED UNTIL MAY 2010. SO....MORE MILES, TRAINERS, ENERGY BARS, FLAPJACK, JELLY BABIES, ETC ETC......... LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!!

Sweeping up...

Today was the second running of the Cartmel Ultimate Trail Race...18k of slippy, slidy, sticky MUD, MUD, MUD!!!

Paula and Jenny were taking it easy at the back, collecting signs and flags as they ran.

The great thing about this course is.... they can run it any time they wish!
